There are now over 50 cases of overcrowding amongst Uganda Asians in Harrow - the worst case involving 14 people living in one small house.
There were ten adults and four children living in a house in Edgware which had two living rooms, a box room and two bedrooms, said Mr S.N. King, the Chief Public Health Inspector, this week.
In a similar house at Wealdstone there were eight adults living with five children. One of the worst cases had been a house in Edgware where 19 people were living. But 12 of them recently moved away, said Mr King. In most cases the overcrowding was only temporary.
